In partnership with CPC we are creating a brand new Wet Leisure event for the industry. It’s the Wet Leisure Golf Open and for its inauguration we have chosen possibly the best golf course in Shropshire, Shifnal Golf Club ( https://www.shifnalgolfclub.com )
 
Lunch upon arrival and a BBQ afterwards, its open for teams of 2 or 4 or even singles (as there will no doubt be spaces) and will take place from Mid-Day 1st August 2024. 
 
There will be plenty of prizes, sponsorship opportunities for the trade and even 4 exhibitor stand spaces. There’s even a hole in one prize of a £20,000 Sundance Spa up for grabs. This will be backed up with press media through Swimming Pool News and the chance to catch up with the trade other than at Spatex! Even spectators are welcome as plenty will be going on throughout the day. 
 
Teams of 4 (made up of pairs and singles if you cannot get 4 together) with a total of 20 teams. 
 
The format will be 2 scores to count from 4, stableford, full handicap and we will hold a staggered tee off from the 1st 6 holes as we will have the entire golf course and clubhouse to ourselves on the day. 
 
The cost will be £100 for team of 4, £60 for team of 2 or £30 for a single. But the prize pot will be in excess of £1200 with additional prizes from sponsors with 3 nearest the pin and 1 longest drive additional prizes. 
 
I do hope you can join us for this unique and first ever event in what we hope will become an annual event. 
 
Its gonna be a fun day and the golf will be secondary  . . . . Even if you don’t personally play would you have staff that do so?
